Add or remove bonus points

Award bonus points to a house and remove an award entered in error.

Organisation admins can award bonus points to a house within one carnival. The award is separate from points earned through event results. Check the house, amount and reason before saving; deleting an incorrect award removes it from the carnival total.

Manage bonus points

1. Open the carnival overview and find Bonus Points.

2. Choose the House, enter the Points to award, and add a Reason so staff can identify the award later.

3. Select Add Bonus Points. A new row appears and the House Points chart is updated with the new award.

4. If the award was entered in error, select Delete on its row and confirm. Check that the row disappears, then review the house total again.

Bonus points change house totals for this carnival. If the billboard is open, allow it to refresh before comparing the display with the carnival overview. If the total still seems stale, check how student and house points update.
